Irrigation Specialist

We are hiring a Irrigation Specialist to join Ironwood Agriculture in Lumberton.

About Ironwood Agriculture

Ironwood Agriculture is an established North Carolina agriculture and livestock operations company with 22 locations across the Sandhills. Founded in 1994, we have decades of experience scaling operations while keeping local hiring strong.

About the role

You'll design, install, and service irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. You'll lay out zones and head placement, trench and pipe new installs, program controllers and sensors, and perform spring start-ups, mid-season adjustments, and fall blowouts. You'll diagnose leaks, wiring faults, and coverage problems, recommend water-saving upgrades like smart controllers and drip conversion, and keep clear service records for each property.

What you will bring

You bring hands-on irrigation or landscape experience, comfort with basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting, and pride in systems that run efficiently without callbacks. You work outdoors in all conditions, manage a route independently, and explain options to property owners without jargon.

If this sounds like the right fit, apply through this listing. Final-round interviews are typically on-site.
